Matt Greenberg joined Greenberg Law P.C. in 2021, bringing with him experience representing clients in New York and New Jersey with challenging issues requiring creative solutions. Matt is passionate and dedicated to his clients, and cares deeply about ensuring they get the best possible results. His ability to patiently listen to and understand the needs of his clients is what separates him from other attorneys. He is a zealous advocate in the courtroom, at arbitration or mediation, and through his legal writing and research skills.

Matt proudly represents clients who have suffered injuries whether due to car accidents, trip/slip and falls, and construction incidents or more complex matters, such as sexual abuse, police brutality, and medical malpractice. He has achieved numerous substantial results in both New York and New Jersey, including:

  • $2,008,750 for a child sexually abused by a teacher, causing severe PTSD and other mental health issues.
  • $1,500,000 for client involved in a multi-vehicle car collision, which exacerbated prior neck injuries and required client to undergo a neck surgery.
  • $875,000 for a woman who tripped and fell on a sidewalk in New Jersey, fracturing her wrist and face and resulting in multiple surgeries.
  • $750,000 for a woman struck by a rideshare vehicle while crossing the street in New Jersey, causing an ankle fracture with surgery.
  • $575,000 for a slip and fall on ice resulting in a young man’s hip fracture.
  • $550,000 for a U.S. Army veteran involved in a motor vehicle collision causing an exacerbation of injuries he suffered while serving our country.
  • $350,000 for a client who fractured her ankle falling off the side of an outdoor staircase at a church in NYC.
  • $300,000 for a woman who tripped and fell due to a defective LIRR platform, causing a fractured elbow with surgery.
  • $225,000 for client that fell down a dark and slippery staircase in New Jersey, causing her to fracture her leg.
  • $200,000 in a police brutality and false arrest case against the NYPD after officers unnecessarily tasered a man.
  • $200,000 for a client rear-ended in New Jersey, resulting in a shoulder tear and surgery.
  • $200,000 for a biker hit by a rideshare vehicle, resulting in soft-tissue injuries without surgery.

Upon graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 2018, Matt spent three years at a large corporate firm and focused his practice on complex commercial litigation, representing individuals and corporations in financial, real estate, white collar, antitrust, and software disputes.

During that time, he is most proud of working alongside former Senator Joseph I. Lieberman (z”l) on several matters and his pro-bono work, which included representing a domestic violence survivor seeking asylum in the U.S. and providing criminal defense for a man with severe mental health issues.

Matt was recently elected as a Director of the Bronx Bar Association. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and New Jersey Association for Justice. He has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers every year since 2022.
